Additional system info: The Aquatic Vac is a floating, self-propelled, high-volume pump system designed to remove suspended solids and contaminants from storm sewer ponds, wastewater treatment ponds, retention ponds, and reservoirs. It uses a submersible head and flexible transfer hose to move material to a disposal or dewatering area. This system is not a dredge. It is designed to remove submerged/suspended material from the body of water without damaging liners or natural base material. The vac depth is controlled by stationary rotating wheels to keep the head/boom off the bottom.
