Peterbilt 379 powered by a BXS Caterpillar Acert C15. Engine history is unknown, but it runs well and, to the best of my knowledge, is still set at the factory 475 horsepower. Equipped with an 18-speed transmission and what I believe are 3.36 rear gears.
purchased this truck in April and immediately had extensive repairs and maintenance completed, investing approximately $25,000. The steer axle was completely rebuilt, including new spring pins and bushings, kingpins, and both front hubs. It also received all new shocks, new airbags, a brand-new fifth wheel that has just been installed and has not yet been used, a new air-to-air (charge air cooler), new coolant lines, and most or all of the A/C components were replaced. The air conditioning works exceptionally well and blows ice cold.
This truck has received substantial recent mechanical work and is ready to go. It runs strong and presents a great opportunity for its next owner.
