1978 Pontiac Phoenix LJ SELLING UNRESERVED! 1978 Pontiac Phoenix with a 3-speed automatic transmission and SBC 350 5.7L V8. The engine features Vortec heads, a large cam, flat-top pistons, rollerized rockers and headers. Seller states the engine has very low kilometres, approximately 20,000 original km. The rear end has a 3.85 differential with positraction. The body has no rust; the doors and fenders have been welded, and the driver-side quarter panel and front floor pans have been replaced. The subframe is in good condition with only surface rust from driving on gravel roads. Sound-deadening mats have been installed throughout the interior from the trunk to the firewall. The interior is original except for the carpet, which is new. Work was completed approximately three years ago. More recently, the front end received new tie-rod ends and a new connector arm between the pitman arm and idler arm. A wheel alignment was completed, and a new master brake cylinder was installed.
