1972 Cessna 172M Airplane Aircraft: 1972 Cessna 172M Registration: N20392 Serial Number: 17261252 Location: Naples Airport (APF), Naples, Florida Condition: Damaged/inoperative following an accident at the airport Noted upon inspection. Flaps and controls operable. Aircraft lights and gauges powered up. Prop moves, engine is not seized. Prop is bent and shows signs of damage. Damage noted on front lower cowling and front landing gear due to aircraft incident upon landing. During landing aircraft coming off of pavement into the grass and ended travel into a small ditch where damage occurred. Keys not in aircraft at time of inspection. Key lock box located in aircraft. Unable to access lock box, test gauges, radio function or engine function. Proper documentation will be provided to the buyer to transfer ownership with FAA. Aircraft history will be provided. No log books on site with aircraft. It would be buyers responsibility to locate books from prior owner, FAA titling fees, removal cost, repairs, and recertification costs for airworthiness. Buyer has 3 weeks post sale ( Oct. 30th 2026) to remove or negotiate storage costs moving forward with Naples Airport Authority.  Naples Airport Notes: The aircraft has been released from the applicable accident investigation. NAA has completed the abandoned-aircraft process under Section 705.183, Florida Statutes, and the applicable notice period expired more than 60 days ago. NAA is now proceeding with disposition of the aircraft by public sale. The aircraft will be sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, WITH ALL FAULTS. The purchaser will be responsible for all loading, dismantling, transportation, environmental controls, and complete removal from airport property. Any dismantling performed on airport property must include proper defueling and capture of oil and other fluids to protect the airport stormwater system.
